Ayesha's Gypsy Tattoo & Body is a welcoming studio bringing skilled, intentional tattooing to the Sierra Nevada foothills. The shop carries an eclectic, free-spirited energy that matches its name, offering a range of styles well-suited to adventurous clients — from bold neo-traditional and ornamental blackwork to delicate fine line designs that reward a closer look. Artists here take the time to collaborate on custom pieces, ensuring each tattoo feels personal and considered rather than pulled off a flash sheet.
Placerville sits along Highway 50 in El Dorado County, a Gold Rush town that has never lost its rugged, independent streak. The surrounding foothills draw outdoor enthusiasts, artists, and people who value craftsmanship and authenticity — exactly the kind of clientele that gravitates toward a studio like this one. Getting tattooed here feels rooted in that same spirit: unhurried, genuine, and connected to a community that takes pride in doing things with character and care.
