Where it sits
The wide wingspan and long trailing tail feathers make this suited to a back piece, chest plate, or vertical placement down the spine where both the horizontal spread and the downward tail flow have room. It could work across the upper arm or shoulder blade at a reduced scale, but the fine feather linework and dot shading in the chest and tail would lose clarity below a certain size. A forearm placement would force a crop, likely cutting the trailing feathers or one wing.
