Where it sits
This is a wide, roughly square composition with the bones extending diagonally past the skull, so it suits the upper arm, chest, or upper back where that spread has room to sit flat. Shrinking it down loses the stippled shading in the eye sockets and the fine linework on the bone joints first. Forearm placement works if scaled to keep the cross-bone angles from crowding.
