Convicted Designs Tattoo & Piercing
410 5th Street, Rapid City, SD 57701
Convicted Designs Tattoo & Piercing has served Rapid City, South Dakota since opening its doors in December 2015. The shop was founded by Samson Akers, Dan Nobles, and April Akers, who built the studio around the idea of turning past struggles into a shared dream, creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere for clients. The team includes both tattoo and piercing artists who work with clients to design custom pieces, from small, simple designs to large-scale custom work, and offer a range of ready-to-go tattoo options for walk-ins.
Services extend beyond custom tattooing to include a wide selection of colors and sizes, all performed with sterile, single-use needles and ink poured fresh for each client. The studio offers a 20% discount for reformed felons who can show proof of aftercare, parole, probation, or sobriety milestones, along with a 20% discount for military members, veterans, and students. Piercing services come with detailed aftercare guidance for both oral and body piercings. Licensed professionals staff the shop, and clients are guided through consultations before booking to ensure their vision is fully understood before the appointment begins.
