Robert Meyers Tattoos represents the work of Robert Meyers, a tattoo artist based in Cary, North Carolina, who has been tattooing since 1994 and working in the Raleigh area since 2007. Over the course of his career he has owned and worked in award-winning shops and studios both in the United States and in Europe. Meyers is fluent in Spanish and English and conversational in several other languages, allowing him to connect with a wide range of clients. He is also the owner of Apocalypse Girl Tattoo in Cary, NC, and continues to travel to do guest spots in other studios.
His approach to tattooing centers on the belief that a tattoo should be as unique as the person wearing it, treating tattoo art as a visual communication of emotion. Rather than working within a single specialty, he prides himself on being fluid across a variety of styles and on continually learning and evolving his craft. This adaptability allows clients seeking different aesthetics to find a tailored approach under one artist. Outside the studio, Meyers enjoys shooting, running, working out, studying, cooking, and spending time with his dogs, interests that inform the well-rounded, disciplined character he brings to his tattooing career.
