Dinosaur Studio Tattoo & Art Gallery is located in the downtown Waukegan Arts District, right off Lake Michigan, in Waukegan, Illinois. The studio was opened in early 2011 by artist Mark Hoffmann, who earned a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois Chicago and later graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 2004. Drawing on a lifelong love of drawing, realism, and watercolors, Hoffmann began tattooing in January 2006 before eventually settling back in the Chicagoland area to open his own shop.
For over a decade, the studio has focused on creating custom, wearable art for a loyal base of repeat clients and their families.
