Kulture Tattoo Kollective, in Hanapepe on Kauai, Hawaii, specializes in contemporary Polynesian, South Seas, and custom tattooing rooted in ancient, animistic, and talismanic traditions. Housed in the historic Seto Market Building alongside the Hanapepe River, the studio is a private space with three artists, including lead artist Samuel Shaw, offering work spanning Hawaiian kakau, Samoan tatau, Maori kirituhi, Tahitian patutiki, Filipino batok, and freehand custom designs. The approach centers on honoring each client's story and spiritual connection through the tattoo, treating the work as a form of protection and guidance rather than mere decoration.

As a private, appointment-only studio, walk-ins are rarely accommodated since schedules book up in advance, and clients are encouraged to reach out directly to arrange a session. The air-conditioned space maintains strict cleanliness standards, using single-use needles, tubes, and ink containers along with hospital-grade autoclave sterilization, and its artists are licensed in the State of Hawaii. Cover-up work is considered on a case-by-case basis, with Marquesan-style designs often recommended for older or darker tattoos. The studio accepts major credit cards, Square, PayPal, and Venmo for payment.
