Whitetail Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio in Wellington, New Zealand, built as a sanctuary for creativity where art meets craftsmanship. The resident artists cover a wide range of styles, including contemporary black and grey Japanese-inspired tattooing, bold western traditional work rooted in European and American influences, and black and grey realism alongside fineline, dot work, watercolour, neotraditional, and mandala designs. One artist brings over 20 years of tattooing experience across New Zealand and Germany, with a practice that extends into painting, carving, and drawing. Alongside its core team, the studio regularly hosts local and international guest artists, and welcomes established artists seeking a Wellington residency. Consultations are used to plan design, scheduling, and pricing before any work begins.
