First Due Tattoos is a private tattoo studio in Maitland, Florida, founded by Josh Ruohonen, an active firefighter paramedic with over a decade of experience in the fire service and a tattoo artist since 2020. Operating under the motto "Discipline and Dedication Through Artistry," the studio channels the commitment and camaraderie of the firefighter community into its approach to tattooing. Josh, working under the name RuohoArtworks, specializes in the neo-traditional tattoo style and creates custom pieces ranging from bold firefighter-themed designs and first responder tributes to personal, story-driven artwork.
The studio offers a quiet, one-of-a-kind private setting designed so clients can focus fully on their session, whether they're getting a large custom piece or a small meaningful tribute. Every detail of the space reflects values of service and attention to detail, creating a relaxed environment where clients can feel at ease throughout the process. Conveniently located near shopping plazas and dining options, it's an easy spot to take a break during longer appointments. Consultations can be booked directly, and the studio occasionally welcomes guest artists for special spots.
