Cast Iron Tattoos has been Orlando, Florida's oldest tattoo shop since it was founded in 2001 by Danny Knight upon his return to the city from Las Vegas. The family-owned and operated studio brings together over 40 years of combined experience across every tattoo style, offering walk-ins daily along with piercing services. Clients are welcome to bring their own designs or choose from the shop's selection, with a personalized approach applied to each tattoo regardless of style.
In June 2022, Danny passed the shop's leadership to Lance White and Matty Bullitt. Lance joined the team in 2005 and learned tattooing and machine building directly under Danny's mentorship, while Matty brings his own hospitality background from Bullitt Bar and McQueens Social Lounge in Downtown Orlando. The pair's friendship dates back to the Tried and True Tattoo Convention, which Danny helped host in Orlando in 2009 and 2010. Now 23 years strong, the studio continues its founding tradition of quality and hospitality, maintaining its reputation as the oldest and finest tattoo shop within Orlando city limits.
