Happy Fun Time Tattoo operates as the private studio home of artist Jacob Crowder in Erwin, Tennessee, working under the moniker "hollow priest." The studio's tagline, "baptisms in black," reflects its dark, artful approach, with imagery centered on motifs like ghouls, inquisitors, teeth, tarot, talons, and moonlit scenes. Crowder describes his work as more than individual tattoos — he is building an ongoing storyline populated by interconnected characters and settings, so each piece can become part of a larger interconnected world rather than a standalone image.
Clients can book custom tattoo work directly through the studio, and there is also a selection of pre-made designs available for those who want a ready-to-go option. Before booking, visitors are directed to review the studio's process information to understand how sessions are handled. Crowder notes he has spent years developing this evolving storyline and character mythology, with a full-length story planned for future release, and expresses gratitude to those who have supported the project's growth. The overall aim is art that helps clients "become who they are" through permanent, narrative-driven tattoo work.
