Where it sits
The radial, star-shaped symmetry suits a back piece, chest centrepiece or the crown of a thigh where the full mandala can be seen at once. It also works on a rounded area like the shoulder cap or upper arm since the design fans out from a central point. Shrinking it below mid-size will blur the facial features and lose the fine snake and torch details in the outer figures.
