The wide wingspan and vertical body make this suited to the back, chest or a large thigh panel where the wings can stretch fully outward. On a forearm or calf the wings would need to fold in or be cropped, losing the symmetry that makes the piece work. Smaller areas like the upper arm would compress the ruins at the bottom and flatten the fine dot-shading in the wings.
