Alley Tats is a professional tattoo studio bringing skilled, detail-driven work to the heart of Chico's creative scene. The shop carries the kind of lived-in energy that makes first-timers feel welcome and seasoned collectors feel right at home. Artists here work across a range of styles well-suited to the studio's eclectic clientele — bold traditional pieces, expressive neo-traditional work, and crisp fine line tattooing all find a natural place on the walls and in the portfolios. Every appointment is treated as a collaboration, with an emphasis on clean execution and lasting quality.
Chico is a Northern California college town with a laid-back, outdoorsy spirit and a surprisingly deep appreciation for art and self-expression. The mix of students, longtime locals, and transplants from the Bay Area and beyond creates a diverse crowd with adventurous tastes. That energy feeds directly into the studio, where the demand for personal, meaningful tattooing keeps the work varied and the creative bar high.
