Explozo's Custom Tattoos is a tattoo studio in Orland, California, led by owner and lead artist Explozo (Joser Rosales). The shop specializes in black & grey realism, color realism, lettering, and custom designs built around each client's own ideas and references. The artist team also includes Eneas Rosales, known for blending classic influence with vibrant color realism and lettering; Ireri "Rarri" Vargas, recognized for bold detail and smooth shading; and Evan, whose approachable style makes each session feel personal.
Joser's path into tattooing grew out of a lifelong devotion to art, from early drawing and spray painting to creating community murals for local schools and businesses, before he trained at the Art Institute in Arizona. That foundation carries into the studio today, where the focus stays on custom, elevated work delivered with a personal touch. Serving Glenn County and the wider Northern California area, the studio offers online appointment booking and welcomes clients seeking tattoos that feel like meaningful, lasting works of art.
