Gearhead Barbershop & Tattoo brings together two classic trades under one roof, creating a laid-back yet skilled environment where clients can expect sharp cuts alongside quality ink. The dual-service setup gives the shop a well-worn, welcoming character that suits its craft-focused clientele. Styles like traditional American, blackwork, and neo-traditional feel right at home here — bold, enduring work built to last. Whether you're settling into the barber chair or the tattoo seat, the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, with a genuine commitment to the work being done.
Chico is a Northern California college town with a strong outdoorsy streak — students, farmers, artists, and longtime locals all share the same sun-baked streets. That mix creates a clientele that ranges from first-timers to collectors, all drawn to studios that feel authentic rather than flashy. The Sacramento Valley heat and the town's casual, community-rooted culture make Gearhead's approachable, no-fuss vibe a natural fit for the city it calls home.
