Studio Elev8 is a premiere tattoo studio in South Jordan, Utah, founded in 2016 by tattoo artist Mike Johnson. Billed as Redwood Road's first and finest tattoo establishment, the studio takes a client-focused approach, requiring every client to complete a consultation before their appointment to ensure artist and client are fully aligned on vision. This collaborative, client-oriented process gives each person dedicated attention from their artist throughout both the consultation and the tattoo session itself, resulting in a modern take on the traditional tattoo studio experience.
The team's artists bring more than 50 years of combined tattooing experience and have worked extensively across every tattooing style, handling custom work of any kind. Several artists have won awards for their custom tattooing nationally, and Mike Johnson has earned particular recognition, including magazine features, for his work in dermagraphics restoration and cancer reconstruction tattoos, a service for which surgeons across the United States refer clients exclusively to him. Beyond custom tattooing and dermagraphics restoration, the studio also offers piercings. The atmosphere is built around professionalism, comfort, and a friendly, welcoming environment from first consultation through aftercare.
