Dead RockStar Tattoos, Body Piercing has been part of Fargo, North Dakota's body art scene since opening its doors in 2002. The tattoo artists are experienced across a wide range of styles, including traditional, realism, custom work, and cover-ups, working directly with clients to design pieces suited to their vision. In 2004, the shop became the first and only studio in North Dakota to offer body branding and scarification, and it later became the first in the state to have a body piercer on staff who is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers. The studio's mission is to provide quality body art in a clean and sterile environment.
Piercers walk clients through every step of the process, from choosing appropriate jewelry material, size, and style to explaining aftercare and healing. Beyond tattooing and piercing, services include permanent jewelry that never needs to be removed, along with body jewelry sales. For the adventurous, "Get What You Get" tattoos let clients spin for a random small design at a reduced rate. All procedures, including jewelry purchases and inserts, are done by appointment, and consent forms with valid government-issued ID are required on the day of the visit.
