Fat Ram's Pumpkin Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio located in Jamaica Plain, Boston, Massachusetts, open seven days a week for both walk-ins and scheduled appointments. Every tattoo is drawn specifically for the client rather than chosen from flash sheets, and clients are encouraged to bring reference material to help artists interpret their ideas, though exact designs can also be translated directly onto skin.
The studio and each artist are licensed and inspected by the Boston Public Health Commission, with staff trained in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standards. Sterilization is handled with a steam autoclave that is spore tested monthly, and all needles are single use. The space includes separate rooms for each practitioner, individual handwashing sinks, and a dedicated sterilization area. Numbing cream is discouraged since it can interfere with proper tattooing technique. Appointments can be booked by phone or through an online request form, and the studio is easily reached by car or public transportation in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
