No Sleep Art & Tattoo Studio is a custom tattoo and body modification studio located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The shop specializes in quality, custom tattooing, with artists whose work reflects a personal artistic direction while still adhering to traditional tattoo ideals. Their combined body of tattoo work and fine art shows a diverse yet consistent style, allowing them to acclimate to many different tattoo directions. The team is focused on making every tattoo personal and original, and on creating a comfortable, enjoyable experience for each client from consultation through completion.
Sterility and safety are treated as top priorities, with artists trained in sterilization and cross-contamination procedures and the majority of the tattoo process using single-use, individually packaged and autoclaved disposable equipment. Beyond tattooing, the studio offers a full range of piercing services, including ear, nose, lip, navel, eyebrow, nipple, and cartilage piercings, all performed under strict sanitation standards. Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins are typically welcomed on a daily basis, and prospective clients are encouraged to visit in person to view portfolios and discuss their ideas directly with an artist.
