Meadowlark Tattoo is a Fort Collins, Colorado studio operating by appointment only. It is owned and operated by Cei Lambert, an artist, educator, and activist who was born and raised in Colorado and holds a BS in Wildlife Biology along with a BFA and MFA in Fine Art from Colorado State University. Cei opened the studio in 2020 with a mission of creating great tattoos while prioritizing service to people who have historically been excluded or discriminated against in tattoo spaces, shaping the studio's inclusive, welcoming approach.
Alongside tattooing, Cei maintains an active fine art practice and has exhibited work in galleries nationwide, bringing a strong artistic foundation and deep connection to the natural world into the tattoo work produced at the studio. Beyond the shop, Cei has worked as an adjunct art professor, public health worker, and diversity program director, and volunteers in public health, accessible outdoor adventure, and wildlife rehabilitation. Prospective clients can view a gallery of work, read FAQs, and find aftercare guidance directly through the studio, which currently has its books open for new bookings.
