Tribal Rites Tattoo & Piercing has served Fort Collins, Colorado since 1994, when it opened as the first professional piercing studio in northern Colorado. Custom tattooing was added shortly after, and the shop is now co-owned by Curtis Burgess and Chad Williams. The team brings over 60 years of combined piercing experience and 70 years of combined tattooing experience, and the studio describes itself as large, bright, and inviting, located along College Avenue near the Colorado State University campus.
The studio's mission is to serve as a sanctuary of creative self-expression, with each tattoo artist encouraged to push the envelope and grow artistically alongside every client's personal vision. Piercing services are handled by professional, highly trained piercers who share their knowledge and technical skill for superior results. Tribal Rites also carries one of the most extensive body jewelry collections in Colorado, featuring brands like BVLA, Sacred Symbols, Body Gems, Le Roi, Buddha, and Diablo, with pieces primarily in solid 14 karat gold and titanium alongside brass, silver, and glass options. The environment welcomes people of all races, nationalities, religious backgrounds, and sexual orientations.
