AK Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio in Anchorage, Alaska, led by artist Kevin Harden, who has been tattooing since January 1992 after apprenticing under Temple Drake at Tattoo Technique in Bremerton, Washington. Over 34 years later, he continues to specialize in Bio-Organica — his signature Organic Mech style — along with biomechanical work, neo-traditional pieces, and surreal, nature-based imagery. His technique draws heavy influence from Alphonse Mucha and the Art Nouveau movement, and his portfolio spans florals, sleeves, custom lettering, traditional and new school designs, large-scale mountain and tree scenes, and tiny tattoos alike. Walk-ins are welcome, and same-day tattoos are available.

The shop is described as an artist's studio rather than a standard tattoo shop, with original paintings, sculptures, and one-of-a-kind custom designs covering the walls. Open Monday through Saturday, the studio also accommodates earlier or later appointment times outside standard hours. Kevin's client list has included Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe and Mike Herrera of MxPx. Located in the heart of Anchorage, the space blends decades of tattooing experience with a personal, creative atmosphere built around original artwork and custom design work for every client who walks through the door.
