American Tattoo Society of Fayetteville has been serving the Fort Bragg community in Fayetteville, North Carolina since 2014. Set minutes from the gates of Fort Bragg, the studio was built for soldiers, military families, and veterans, with a 16-artist roster and over 8,000 square feet of space. Every station runs on hospital-grade standards, with single-use needles and tubes, autoclave-sterilized equipment, and bloodborne-pathogen-certified artists, plus private booths available for cover-ups and larger placements. The shop is custom-first, with artists specializing in American Traditional, black & grey, fine line, neo traditional, cybersigilism, lettering, color, Japanese, and realism work, alongside cover-ups and professional piercing services from lobes to daith to dermals.
Walk-ins are welcome daily on a first-come, first-served basis, while consultations are always free and appointments can be booked ahead for larger or custom pieces. The studio is deeply tied to military life, offering regulation-aware placement for unit insignia, memorial work, and pieces marking PCS moves, deployments, homecomings, promotions, and ETS or retirement milestones. In-house financing is available for active-duty military. Artists on staff include several award-winning tattooers and U.S. Army veterans, and the shop describes its atmosphere as straightforward and welcoming, with machines buzzing, flash on the walls, and staff ready to help without attitude or gatekeeping.
