Juniper & Fern Tattoo Company

107 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301

Juniper & Fern Tattoo Company is a female-artist studio located in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina. The studio was established in October 2023 by artist Katie Barbrow, whose love for the outdoors informs her custom design work. Her tattoo style centers on ornamental, fine-line, and heavier illustrative work, and she operates as a custom artist, building her portfolio around original designs rather than replicating existing artwork. Every appointment begins with a complete sanitization of the workspace and the use of new, pre-packaged supplies, reflecting a strong emphasis on cleanliness and client care throughout the process.

Bookings are appointment-only and managed through periodic openings announced on social media, with a request form serving as the first step for prospective clients to share their ideas. Consultations are available for those who want to discuss a design in person, though they are not required if enough detail is provided in advance. The studio is currently expanding to eventually house multiple artists, growing beyond its original single-artist setup. Clients are guided through clear expectations, from design discussions to touch-up policies, all within a welcoming, detail-oriented environment in the heart of Fayetteville.
