Tatsu Tattoos is a walk-in friendly tattoo studio in Greensboro, North Carolina, built around a straightforward, no-frills approach to getting inked. The shop emphasizes quality tattoos at a reasonable price, delivered by artists you can actually have a conversation with, without extra fees for atmosphere or hand-holding. Walk-ins are always welcome during normal business hours, and the studio recommends calling ahead since they stay open until the last walk-in is finished. Consultations can also be booked directly for those wanting to plan out a piece in advance. Please note the studio does not offer piercings.
Among the artists is Alan, a multi-award-winning tattooer who began working professionally in Virginia in 2008. He gravitates toward traditional American and Japanese styles, with a background rooted early in black and grey realism, and is comfortable tackling a wide range of design requests. This versatility reflects the studio's overall ethos: skilled, adaptable artists focused on solid craftsmanship rather than pretense. Clients can reach out directly to artists through social media to discuss upcoming projects. With flexible walk-in hours and appointment-based scheduling earlier in the week, Tatsu Tattoos offers an approachable, low-pressure environment for both first-time visitors and returning clients in the Greensboro area.
