Queen of Hearts Tattoo & Body Piercing has been a Nashville fixture since 1993, after founder Angel Moon first opened the studio in Radcliff, Kentucky, in 1991. Now led by Angel's daughter Crystal, with sister Dixie serving as lead piercer, the shop blends old-school roots with a modern approach to custom artwork. The studio's artists specialize in Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Fine Line, Black & Grey, and Color tattooing, taking on everything from small custom pieces to full sleeves and back pieces, with an emphasis on one-of-a-kind designs built around each client's vision.
Alongside tattooing, the studio offers precision body piercing, including nose, navel, lip, surface, and ear curation work, using premium jewelry and an emphasis on safety and fair pricing. The shop also guides clients through aftercare, carrying trusted healing brands to support both new tattoos and piercings. Having weathered a car crashing into the building, an electrical fire, and the COVID-19 pandemic without ever closing, the studio has built a reputation as one of Nashville's oldest and most award-winning tattoo destinations, bringing together independent artists and piercers under one roof for a lasting local legacy.
