Memorial Tattoo is a longstanding fixture in East Atlanta's Ormewood Park, established in 2006 by Phil Colvin. Now operating two Atlanta locations, the shop has grown into one of the city's most versatile studios, home to a strong collective of artists covering styles ranging from American Traditional to Japanese, realism, and fine line. The space is known for its stained glass and classic flash displayed across the walls, lending the shop a distinct, visceral character that draws in those who appreciate fine work done with top-quality pigments.
The atmosphere is described as clean, classic, contemporary, and always cool, with inclusivity built into the studio's core values — diversity and acceptance are promoted throughout every aspect of the shop, with zero tolerance for intolerance. The resident roster includes artists such as Nick Beaty, Sayana Mills, Alex Malmquist, Fabian Silva, Matthew Scott, Daniel Valvano, Justin Sperry, and Charlie Garrett, working alongside owner Phil Colvin. Open seven days a week from 11am to 9pm, the studio welcomes walk-ins and bookings for custom tattoo work in the Atlanta area.
