Ikigai Tattoo Studios
1812 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31401
Ikigai Tattoo Studios is a small private tattoo collective based in Savannah, Georgia, now in its third year serving the local community through art. The name draws from the Japanese concept of ikigai, the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can get paid for, reflecting a philosophy centered on purpose and craft. Rather than emphasizing volume, the studio is built around creativity, bringing together a roster of professional tattoo artists dedicated to giving each client an optimal, personalized experience.
The team includes individual artists such as Lyndzee, Tricia, Mel, Chelsea, Hil, and Lydia, each contributing their own style and perspective within the collective. Prospective clients are encouraged to reach out directly to inquire about working with a specific artist, and the studio welcomes new clients as an ongoing part of its practice. With its intimate, community-oriented approach, the shop positions itself less as a high-turnover tattoo parlor and more as a considered creative space where artists and clients connect over shared intent and meaning behind the work being done.
