Golden Oak Tattoo is an independent, artist-owned studio located in South Austin, Texas. Founded by husband-and-wife team Etgar and Gita Oak, it operates as a family-owned, artist-driven shop specializing in clean, custom tattoos created with intention. Etgar brings years of experience as a tattoo artist, while Gita oversees the day-to-day organization and detail that keeps the studio running smoothly. Together they've built a roster that includes several resident artists as well as visiting guest artists, offering clients a range of styles and perspectives under one roof.
The studio's space was designed with comfort and creativity in mind, with careful attention paid to lighting, layout, privacy, and cleanliness so clients feel at ease from the first sketch to the final line. Whether it's a first tattoo or a tenth, the team emphasizes guidance, professionalism, and high standards of safety throughout the process. Golden Oak Tattoo is open Tuesday through Saturday, and clients can book appointments directly or reach out with questions. The result is a welcoming environment where custom artwork is treated as a collaborative, trust-based experience.
