Upside Tattoo

Upside Tattoo brings a fresh vision to the tattoo experience in Hutto, Texas, just outside the greater Austin area. Founded by Andy Pho, an internationally known and award-winning tattoo artist with over a decade of experience, the studio was created to re-cultivate what a tattoo appointment can be, placing full focus on the client and their personal transformation. The space is envisioned as a getaway where clients can pursue complete creative expression of their body, guided by a team that includes resident artists, apprentices, a consultant, and a dedicated manager.

The studio's mission centers on crafting tattoos that spark meaningful experience and conversation, offered within a calm, meditative environment designed to minimize everyday noise and distraction. This approach gives clients room to care for body, mind, and spirit throughout the process. The team, known internally as "the Tribe," includes owner and artist Andy Pho alongside other artists, apprentices, and support staff who each bring their own style and portfolio to the shop. Guided by the value of leaving people and places better than they were found, Upside Tattoo positions itself as a welcoming home base for tattoo collectors in the Hutto community.
