Southside Tattoo

Open now Until 10:00 PM

1313 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704

Southside Tattoo has been a fixture of South Austin since 2001, located in the city's SoCo district right next door to the legendary Continental Club. Open seven days a week, the shop welcomes both walk-ins and scheduled appointments, and operates on a cash-only basis. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming to all, built around the idea that since tattoos take real time to create, that time is best spent with good, interesting people who are genuinely happy to have you there.

The shop is owned by Bart Willis and Chris Gunn, who have carefully selected a roster of talented, versatile artists to represent the studio. Between them, the team can produce virtually any tattoo style requested, working collaboratively with each client to create a unique piece of art that flatters the body and ages gracefully over time. This Austin studio's emphasis on craftsmanship and personal connection has made it a long-standing name in the local tattoo scene, with a range of artists whose individual styles and talents can be explored further through the shop's own artist profiles.
