Electric 13 Tattoo

Electric 13 Tattoo has been part of Austin, Texas's tattoo scene for more than two decades. The shop traces back to 2007, when owner Paco Cendón took over a Guadalupe location after managing Atomic Tattoo there, having previously opened his own shop in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, after starting his tattooing career in the 1990s. That original location closed in 2022 after fifteen years, but a second Austin shop opened in 2019 on the city's historic east side and now serves as the studio's home base, located above Liberty Bar.

The studio's team includes artists Paco Cendón, Mig Kokinda, Josh Nichols, Julia Rumbarger, and Annabelle Warren, offering tattoos across a wide range of styles. Cendón, an award-winning artist, works six days a week and tattoos near the front of the shop, where walk-in clients are personally greeted. The approach is built on straightforward honesty about what's achievable in a tattoo and how it will heal, paired with genuine customer service. Beyond tattooing, visitors can stop by for consultations, shop merchandise, or even join the artists on the karaoke machine, making the space as much a neighborhood hangout as a working tattoo shop.
