East Bay Tattoo is located in Oakland, California, founded by award-winning artists Joe Parker and Barnaby Williams. Formerly of Tiger's Blood Social Club, the two had traded off being each other's boss in shops over the years before deciding to open their own studio, settling into the middle of Oakland after tattooing all over the world. The shop's resident roster also includes artists Roo, Daisy Garcia, Ant, and Nana, each bringing their own portfolio and Instagram following to the space.
The studio focuses on real custom artwork rather than off-the-shelf flash, offering everything from coverups to original pieces in any style a client can imagine. Their goal is to give people the tattoo they've always wanted, working with some of the best tattoo artists in the Bay Area. The shop is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1pm to 8pm, and clients can browse individual artists' portfolios or follow the studio and its artists on Instagram and Facebook to see ongoing custom work.
