Stingers Tattoo has been part of Boise, Idaho's tattoo scene since 1998, when artist Mike Maness first opened the studio's doors. Since then it has grown into a custom tattoo studio built around collaboration, with skilled artists working closely with clients to craft one-of-a-kind designs rather than relying on pre-made flash work. The studio operates on an appointment basis, while also accommodating occasional walk-ins for those seeking custom tattoo work on shorter notice.
The team is led by founder Mike Maness alongside artist Natalie Hodge, both described as versatile artists working across all styles. Clients consistently point to the welcoming, non-intimidating atmosphere as a defining feature of the shop, with artists noted for their patience, compassion, and ability to translate a client's personal vision into finished artwork. Whether it's detailed color work or a design built entirely from scratch, the emphasis throughout stays on personalized, one-of-a-kind tattoos created through genuine collaboration between artist and client in a space that feels comfortable and approachable.
