Ace Tattoo Co is a tattoo studio located in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, offering custom body art and welcoming both appointments and walk-ins. The shop is led by owner and artist Franklyn Metz, who has been tattooing since 2003, having started his career in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Franklyn specializes in black and gray and fine line tattoo work, bringing nearly two decades of experience to every piece he creates. Before settling into tattooing full time in the area, he served in the Marine Corps, retiring in 2011, and relocated to Fort Oglethorpe in 2012 with his family.
The studio keeps a personal, community-rooted feel, supporting local veteran-owned businesses and maintaining ties with other area vendors. Clients can reach the shop directly by phone for consultations on their next tattoo, and the team maintains a flexible schedule, open Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Saturday, with Thursdays available by appointment only. Ace Tattoo Co presents itself simply as "your choice for body art," reflecting a straightforward, dedicated approach to custom tattooing. The studio also showcases a portfolio of past work for prospective clients browsing styles and craftsmanship before booking their session.
