Inkstitution

Inkstitution has been part of Rotterdam's tattoo scene since 1998, built on a foundation of quality and personal attention. The studio works by appointment only, welcoming visitors for inspiration, advice, and explanation of the design process before committing to a piece. Artists here specialize in tribal, blackwork, dot work, and ornamental styles, working with both machine and hand-poke techniques, and drawing inspiration from indigenous cultures and symbolic, ancestral-inspired design. Since April 2018, the studio has also housed Classic Glamour, a discreet, private piercing boutique offering a curated selection of high-quality jewelry and recognized as the first luxury piercing boutique in the Netherlands.

The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 to 19:00 and is fully approved by the GGD, adhering to the highest hygiene standards. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, described by its team as a magical place where creative, social, and even spiritual aspects of tattooing come together. Clients are encouraged to share clear descriptions, placement details, and reference images when booking, ensuring each piece reflects individual body flow and personal style.
