Inkfish tattoo

Inkfish tattoo is a custom tattoo studio in Rotterdam, located just behind Centraal Station. Every design is created personally with each client, drawn by hand with pen on paper rather than through AI or photoshopped templates, following a detailed consultation to work out the concept together. Because designs are made specifically for the person getting tattooed, they are never repeated on anyone else. Clients are also welcome to bring their own drawing, photo, or print for reference. With more than 16 years of tattooing experience, the studio has developed skills across a wide range of tattoo styles, visible in an extensive gallery of completed work spanning subjects from Japanese-inspired pieces to fine line florals and bold new-school designs.

The studio works in both black & grey and color, combining bold outlines with fine linework, often within the same piece, and will always accommodate a thinner outline if that's what a client prefers. Inkfish has particular experience with cover-up tattoos, tattooing on darker skin tones, and using tattoos to conceal scars. The approach is collaborative rather than dictatorial: guidance is offered on style and placement to suit the body, but the final decision always rests with the client, since it's their body the design lives on.
