Tattoo Dex

Tattoo Dex is a boutique tattoo studio in Rotterdam, run by a female tattoo artist who has been working in the trade since 1996. She began designing tattoos at the age of thirteen and started her career in her father's studio on the Pleinweg before opening her own studio on the Witte de Withstraat, and now works from her current location in Kralingen. Describing the space as more boutique than studio or shop, she works alone, which allows for full, personal attention to every client throughout the process.

The studio's work is defined by thin, fine and tight lines, with a strong focus on refinement and detail as an allround artist. Ample time is taken to determine the right size and placement for each design, and listening closely to a client's wishes before translating them creatively into a personal design is a core strength. Alongside tattooing, permanent make-up has been offered daily since 1996, with specialization in both hairstroke and powder techniques for eye, lip and eyebrow lines.
