Bed of Roses Tattoo Studio has been part of Tampa, Florida's tattoo scene since it was founded by Josh Agostinelli in July 2017. Josh, a Tampa native with a Master's degree in art education from Florida State University, built the shop around clean, meticulous craftsmanship and a welcoming atmosphere for clients bringing their own ideas or seeking his guidance. Since then, the studio has grown into a collective of artists with distinct creative voices, all working under one roof in the city.
The artists at the studio bring a wide range of styles, including graphic design-influenced print-making aesthetics, intricate blackwork, soft and fluid black and grey, and illustrative dark and magical imagery accented with bright white highlights. Subject matter spans soft florals, detailed insects, surrealist and witchy themes, earthy and pop-culture inspiration, and dark feminine concepts, reflecting each artist's individual background and training. Clients can review artist portfolios and connect directly through Instagram to discuss ideas and booking availability, with an emphasis on compassionate care and creativity throughout the tattooing process.
