Paradise Tattoo has provided custom tattoo services to Fort Myers Beach and Southwest Florida since 2011, drawing clients from Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Estero, Bonita Springs and Naples. The studio is intentionally small, with every client working directly with the artist who designs their piece from first consultation through final session. Owner Dawn Webb apprenticed under the shop's founder and finished her training in 2007, splitting her time between tattooing and painting, with her original acrylics hanging in the shop lobby. Artist Samantha Taylor, a native Floridian who began tattooing in 2018, specializes in black and grey and painterly color work, drawing on a background in portrait painting and public murals.
Between its artists, the shop covers illustrative and fine-line black and grey, full color, script and lettering, memorial pieces, and reworking older tattoos. Custom design is the focus, with most projects starting from a conversation, a sketch, and a follow-up before any tattooing begins. As a beach-town studio, it tattoos locals and vacationing visitors alike, and encourages tourists to schedule their appointment for the last day of their trip. The shop currently does not offer piercing services.
