Poison Ivy Ink is a women- and LGBTQ+-owned and operated tattoo and piercing studio serving the Tampa Bay area. It began in August 2021 as a small private studio before growing into full storefront locations, including its Tampa shop, with a sister location later opening in St. Petersburg. The studio has built a reputation as a welcoming, comfortable space where clients of all backgrounds can get quality tattoo and piercing work from a diverse team of artists.
The Tampa roster covers a wide range of styles, from sleeves, large-scale black and gray work, and tattoo or scar cover-ups to delicate fine-line and illustrative pieces, floral back pieces, realism, ornamental and semi-realism designs, dotwork, mandalas, gothic and black work, and stippled woodcut-style imagery. Artists also specialize in tattooing melanated skin. Beyond custom tattoo appointments, the studio offers walk-ins, flash events, and piercing services, giving clients several ways to connect with an artist. Each tattooer brings a distinct personality and specialty, so every visit offers a genuine, personalized experience within a supportive, inclusive environment built around individual artistry.
