AMBITIOUS INK Z

Ambitious Ink Z is a custom tattoo studio in Yokosuka, Japan, working with resident artists Ai, Ryuta, and Sue alongside occasional guest artists. Ai has been tattooing for more than 15 years, having worked across the USA, UK, Italy, and Mexico, and specializes in Japanese style and realistic tattooing. Ryuta focuses on American old school style, lettering, and black and shade work, and has traveled to the States and Europe to tattoo. Sue works in American and Japanese traditional styles. Every tattoo is custom, with each design created individually for the client, and the studio welcomes free consultations to discuss tattoo ideas before booking.

The studio maintains a clean and safety-focused environment, using autoclave sterilization, UV sterilizers, and ultrasonic cleaners, along with single-use needles, gloves, and disposable ink cups. Working areas are disinfected with ethanol between sessions. Appointment policies have included capacity limits, distanced tattooing stations, mandatory masks, and hand sanitizer at entry. The shop is closed on Tuesdays and can be reached by phone or email, with updates shared through Facebook and Instagram for those wanting to see more of the artists' work before visiting.
