Inksane Gent

Inksane Gent opened its doors in 2024 as a franchise of Inksane Roeselare, bringing over a decade of tattoo experience to the city's shopping district. The studio is run by owner Cristian Bones, a KASK Gent art graduate and the shop's dedicated black-and-white photorealism artist, who personally matches every client with the artist best suited to their idea. Alongside him works Mariana, part of the small, dynamic in-house team, plus rotating guest artists brought in whenever waiting lists grow. In Gent, clients can get tattoos in realism, Maori/Polynesian, fine line, dotwork, cyber-sigilism, minimalism, old school and blackwork styles, and the studio also takes on cover-ups, from simple touch-ups to complex full transformations.

The approach centers on a personal, no-pressure "matchmaking" service: visitors can walk in without an appointment during opening hours for a free, no-obligation chat about their idea before committing to a design or artist. Beyond tattooing, the studio houses a professional in-house piercer offering a wide range of jewelry with close attention to hygiene and aesthetics. The team guides clients through the whole process, from developing a concept and choosing a fitting artist to aftercare advice once the piece is finished, aiming for a comfortable, well-informed experience from first conversation to finished artwork.
