Founded in 1992 by Greg Eppy, Paradise Tattoo is the oldest studio in the Florida Keys. Originally based on Stock Island, the shop relocated to Key West's famous Duval Street in 2007 after Greg successfully fought to overturn a 40-year ban on tattooing within the city. Since then, the team has tattooed and pierced people from the local community as well as visitors from all over the world. Every artist on staff has been hand-picked by Greg for their talent, and the studio prides itself on being a welcoming space where a diverse clientele is greeted with a smile by friendly, knowledgeable staff.
The artist lineup spans American Traditional, new school, portrait work, and realism, with tattooers who trained in Havana and Holguin, Cuba, as well as St. Louis and Grand Rapids, Michigan, bringing years of combined experience to the shop. Beyond tattoos and piercings, the studio carries one of the largest selections of body jewelry in town, along with branded T-shirts and apparel from top brands. During Fantasy Fest, visitors can also get painted by the shop's award-winning body painters, rounding out a space built around tattoos, piercings, body painting, and shopping all under one roof.
