Hashtag 45 Tattoo has been tattooing in Essen's Schonnebeck district since 2022, working across fine line, floral, freehand, dark art, and gothic styles. The studio's resident artist, Olek, has been with the shop since it opened, tattooing and piercing while also serving as the main point of contact for bookings and project planning. Guest artist Amina visits several times a year, bringing work in gothic, black and gray, realism, and neotraditional styles, while an apprentice, Jil, is developing her own style within the studio.

Beyond tattooing, the studio offers piercing services using its own titanium jewelry as standard, with outside jewelry accepted only after prior consultation with the piercer to confirm suitability. Clients can pay in installments through vouchers arranged directly with their artist and redeemed at their appointment, and gift vouchers are also available to purchase. The studio places strong emphasis on aftercare, providing detailed healing guidance to clients since improper aftercare is the most common cause of complications.
