Matrjoschka INK is a tattoo studio in Dortmund, Germany, run by artist Oleksandra, known as Sasha, who is originally from Ukraine. Before turning to tattooing, she completed a degree in International Finance, but her long-standing fascination with art, color, and form led her toward a creative path instead. She discovered her passion for tattooing during her time as a resident artist at a small studio in Dinslaken, where she created her first pieces before establishing her own space in Dortmund.

The studio focuses on tattoos that carry personal meaning, from portraits of loved ones and animals to symbols, florals, and lettering, treating each piece as a lasting, photograph-like memory on the skin. Sasha enjoys working with intricate linework and unconventional color combinations, giving clients a sense of her style through her online gallery. Rather than a large, clinical space, the studio is designed to feel warm and stylish, like a second living room, so clients can relax throughout the tattooing process.
