Tattoo Studio Tewfick

Tattoo Studio Tewfick is an independent tattoo and piercing studio in Angers, in the Maine-et-Loire region, founded in 1983 as the first tattoo shop in the department. Tewfick started the studio and welcomed a variety of artists over the years, giving Angevin clients access to several different tattoo styles under one roof. In 1992 he partnered with his wife Angélina to launch and grow the piercing side of the business, building it into a full-service studio offering both tattoos and piercings.

The shop has become a family affair, with the couple's children raised around the craft eventually joining the team: elder son Rudy came on board in 2014, developing his own distinct tattooing style, followed by younger son Bryan in 2018, who joined the piercing team. Today the studio's artists include Angélina, Karine, Benjamin, Rudy, Arno, Chloé and Dany, and the team also offers a jewelry selection for piercings. Open six days a week, the studio welcomes walk-ins and appointments for those ready to get tattooed or pierced in Angers.
