Vanguard Tattoo is a Gold Coast studio in Biggera Waters, home to a team of eleven professional artists working across a broad range of styles under one roof. Specialties span black and grey realism, fine line, blackwork, Japanese, traditional, neo-traditional and full sleeve projects, so clients can be matched with an artist suited to their idea. Co-owner Josh Sara has seventeen years of experience in black and grey realism and has built an award-winning reputation, while fellow owner Dan Razor specialises in custom designs with a modern flair and over eight years in the industry.

The studio focuses on custom work built around each client's vision rather than cookie-cutter designs, operating from a clean, professional space that follows state sterilization standards and offers vegan products. Both bookings and walk-ins are welcome, guest artists join periodically to expand the range of available styles, and Afterpay and Zippay are accepted for those planning larger pieces. The space is described as friendly and welcoming, aiming to make first tattoos and full body projects alike feel comfortable from consultation through to completion.
