Sta Demonia Tattoo Stockholm

Sta Demonia Tattoo Stockholm is a queer art and vegan tattoo studio founded by Soledad and Sara, who ran their original space in Barcelona for twelve years before relocating the studio to Stockholm in 2017. Soledad has tattooed since teaching herself the craft in Argentina in the mid-1980s, and together the pair built a space that treats tattooing as an art form. The studio works with invited guest tattooers and artists, hosting flash days, exhibitions, and pop-up markets selling prints, postcards, and merchandise by the artists connected to the space.

The studio actively creates a welcoming environment for LGBTQI+ clients and artists, reserving its professional tattooing and exhibition space for queer artists while remaining open to everyone who wants to get tattooed in a positive, inclusive setting. A large part of the clientele is LGBTQI+. Styles found among the resident and guest artists include illustrative, botanical, old school, fine line, and blackwork work, alongside recurring exhibitions in the "Queer Konst" series and events like Queer Art Fest and Queer Tattoo Expo.
